Full Description:
• What’s involved:
1. To assist with/and or carry out investigation into suspected or alleged fraud or corruption which may include interviews under caution and carry out surveillance duties in accordance with the council policies and guidelines;
2. To assist with data matching and computer interrogation exercises;
3. To assist with and/or make recommendations whether cases should be considered for further action based upon your relevant and reliable documented evidence;
4. To assist with and/or prepare evidence for court purposes and where necessary represent the council at court;
5. To attend any necessary training consummate with your post;
6. To update the fraud software system as required;
7. To liase and ensure good working relations with other internal/external customers
8. To take part in fraud awareness events as and when required
